Packaging and image design for farewell gifts
the client would like a logo designed to signify his retirement, the following elements were requested by him to be part of the logo design:
- client’s company logo
- client’s inital
A few draft designs were created and the client has chosen two of the initial ideas for further development.
Considering the production cost, the packaging is composed of clear food packaging bag with a message card which allow less process. This design also allows the receivers to keep the message card clean as a decoration as well.
“Water” is the theme of the project, giving a minialist and relaxing energy to the gifts, especially from the idea of water flow. It also take the double meaning of farewell “散水”(water) in chinese. The contact method is also printed on the back of the card for privacy, but also allow them to keep contact with each other even after the client has retired, appreciating the precious moments and relationships built over the days.
The design is printed on pearl card paper to enhance the shiny and clear texture of water.
We also customised an iron stamp with the logo designed to produce a mark on the treats, making it even memorable and special for every guests.
It is especially printed aligning to the bottom edges so that the design is visible when the guests receive their treats that is carefully packaged.
